Calling all riders and drivers, effective Friday, August 2nd, 2019, TT RideShare is ready for business. After a year of successful operations in Trinidad, we’re finally ready to bring the efficient, safe and affordable ride sharing service to Tobago.
TT RideShare utilises technology through its app to connect riders and drivers, eliminating the hassle and unpredictability from your commute.
Sign up to be a TT RideShare driver today by downloading the Drive- TT RideShare app and uploading the required documents. Visit the website at www.ttrideshare.com/drive for more information. Supplement your income and be your own boss. You determine when you drive so you control how much you earn. As an introductory bonus, you drive for the first two months without having to pay commission. This means, whatever you earn- you keep!
Riders download the TT RideShare app to use the service and secure a ride. The ‘regular’ class ride is available and starts with a base fare of $20. The cost of your ride is determined by a combination of your base fare, distance and time. Time is calculated at $1.50 per minute and distance at $2 per kilometre. Any rides exceeding 20 kilometres in distance will be calculated at $3 per km from the 21st kilometre. Kindly note, a minimum fare of $35 is applied to all rides.
